This year we nominated Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer Toni for the Individual Award at the Hawke's Bay Volunteer Excellence Awards (pictured Bridget – Programme Administrator, Toni – mentor/nominee, Patricia – Sponsorship Manager/Mentor Coordinator). Toni has been a Big Brothers Big Sisters mentor to mentee Katelin for almost 5 years!
We wanted to recognise and honour Toni - her commitment as a mentor has seen her and Katelin’s friendship flourish and has led to so many positive outcomes for Katelin. She has recently entered her teenage years and with Toni’s support is doing so full of confidence.
We thank Toni and all of our mentors who are making a positive impact on our tamariki.
