It was a night of laughter, good banter and generosity with the table of Librarians taking out the top spot as Trivia Champs! The event raised a total of $6,898.60 through tickets for the event, the raffle and auction. We had some fantastic auction items and raffle prizes donated by local businesses and supporters of BBBS. Brayden Coldicutt was the quiz master and auctioneer extraordinaire, his wit and charisma adding to the success of the night.
The venue, Napier Marist Rugby Clubrooms worked really well, and our friends at New World Havelock North, Gourmeats and Goodtime Pie Co. generously supplied a great spread for supper.
Thank you to all that attended especially those that bid on the auction items, our sponsors for the evening that donated items, prizes and goods in kind and to our amazing Fundraising Task Group who put in many voluntary hours planning and organising the event (all listed below). If you missed out this time, fear not, it was such a success and so much fun we are thinking of making it an annual fundraiser.
