We are so happy to have Heidi on the team! She joined us in March and has taken to her role with passion and professionalism, ‘gaining her wings’ to now manage matches on her own. Heidi has been working with children for the past 20 years in a variety of roles. Before immigrating from Germany to NZ she taught children English and was on the committee running a private school for bilingual children. In NZ, Heidi was a part time librarian and teacher aide at a local primary while studying homeopathy, she registered as a homeopath in 2011 and has a clinic, Thrive Homeopathy, in Napier. For Heidi, joining the Big Brothers Big Sisters team is a fantastic way to aid our next generation in being the best they can be.
Farewell and welcome to the Board
We thank Sergeant Carl Southwick for his many years of dedication to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hawke's Bay Board of Trustees. We welcomed Jane Dunkerley as Chair in December 2020, and welcomed Andrew Boyd to the Board as Trustee in February 2021.
